Nurse Practitioner

Ascension Wisconsin is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Ascension Columbia St. Mary's Hospital. As a Registered Nurse on our Medical Surgical Unit, you will provide direct nursing care to patients with a variety of medical conditions, including neurology and orthopedic patients.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients, including assessing and monitoring patient condition, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and communicating with physicians and other healthcare team members.
Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
