Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Visualizer and Specifications Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our design department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality visualizations and specifications that bring our projects to life.

Responsibilities
  • Technical & Construction Documents:
  • Develop and maintain CAD standards and apply them consistently throughout projects.
  • Create detailed elevations from drawings with accuracy and precision.
  • Evaluate and incorporate revisions into drawings and specifications.
  • Produce door and window schedules with attention to detail.
  • Design floor plans and layouts skillfully, ensuring seamless integration with other project elements.
  • Analyze sets of plans and identify complex details with ease.
  • Conduct site measurements with minimal assistance, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Quickly sketch ideas and concepts to facilitate effective communication with team members and clients.
  • Operate Vectorworks software to create electrical plans, finish plans, paint plans, and update title blocks with precision.
  • Update and finalize selections and bids in Builder Trend with attention to detail.
  • Material Specification Requirements:
  • Sourcing materials and specifications based on client feedback, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Interpret client expectations through active listening and questioning.
  • Organize and store images and spec sheets in Google Docs and BuilderTrend for easy access.
  • Contact vendors, obtain samples, gather pricing information, and document the process effectively.
  • Research and source products, maintaining vendor catalogs and resources.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for project close-out.
  • Prepares contract signing documents with precision.
  • Familiarity with Woodcliff's material palettes and ability to source products within established pricing tiers.
  • Selects suitable products that meet client vision, budget, and durability requirements.
  • Demonstrates an excellent eye for color and materials, consistently suggesting fresh ideas that enhance project aesthetic.
  • Encourages innovation in design by exploring new ideas and considering diverse perspectives.
  • Able to balance scale and proportion, as well as color and material relationships in both architecture and FF&E.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
