Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and operate high-pressure heating plants and refrigeration plants
- Repair and maintain industrial control instruments
- Operate and maintain electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Perform annual boiler testing for emissions
- Disassemble and inspect malfunctioning instruments
- Prepare drawings for the fabrication and modification of instrument parts and components
- Operate and maintain motors, steam-driven equipment, and other mechanical systems
- One year of experience in the maintenance and operation of high-pressure heating plants and refrigeration plants at the level of Los Angeles County's class of Stationary Engineer II
- One year of experience in the repair and maintenance of industrial control instruments
- Valid Unlimited Steam Engineer's License issued by the City of Los Angeles' Department of Building and Safety
- Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved Universal Technical Certificate in compliance with Federal license requirements
