Position: Field Services IVVI Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Your Daily Tasks:

  • Lead technical initiatives and oversee projects during the preparation and execution of IVVI solutions, ensuring exceptional quality aligned with customer expectations.
  • Supervise Level II visual examiners throughout outage operations.
  • Compile outage IVVI scopes and finalize examination reports.
  • Engage with clients and participate in industry meetings as necessary.
  • Organize outage visual scopes and schedule examinations in accordance with in-vessel timeframes.
  • Contribute to industry meetings to maintain a competitive advantage in the visual inspection sector.
  • Draft comprehensive final IVVI project reports.
  • Develop and implement field usage and maintenance protocols, including Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for related network systems and devices.
  • Assist with specific projects, including planning, execution, and financial reporting.
  • Support field project teams in the operation and maintenance of systems at client locations and maintenance facilities.
  • Travel 40-60% of the time to both domestic and international sites.
  • Progress to an IVVI LVIII by gaining experience in ASME code and BWRVIP Guidelines, along with project exposure.

Qualifications and Skills:

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related NDE field.
  • 0-15 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in technical writing for procedures and training.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
  • Certifiable in NDE disciplines, including MT, PT, UT, and VT.
  • Preferred knowledge and experience with NDE methods.
  • Familiarity with BWRVIP guidelines is advantageous.
  • Understanding of BWR reactor internal components is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to interface effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Capability to obtain and maintain Unescorted Site Access, including passing drug screening processes.
  • Adaptability to work in a dynamic environment with shifting challenges and customer needs.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
  • Physical capability to work in high-temperature environments, lift over 50 lbs, and remain on feet for extended periods.
