About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Learning Tutor to join our team at Ampact. As an Early Learning Tutor, you will play a vital role in helping young children develop essential skills for success in kindergarten and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with a teacher in a classroom to enhance daily activities and help children build skills and confidence.
  • Help children ages 3-5 develop early reading and math skills through play-based activities.
  • Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's on-site coach to discuss student growth.
  • Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores into data software.
  • Commit to your own growth as a tutor through coaching, training, and professional development.
  • Represent Ampact at school events and share your experience with the community to raise awareness about the importance of early childhood education.
Requirements
  • Be energized by young learners and want to help them discover new things.
  • Eager to work collaboratively with the classroom teaching team.
  • Dependable and have a history of good attendance.
  • Able to understand and follow instructions.
  • Open to making improvements based on feedback.
  • Competent with basic computer skills (like email and navigating online).
  • Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
  • 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States.
