Job Summary

The Early Learning Assistant Teacher will play a vital role in the planning, development, and implementation of classroom activities for our Early Learning programs. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Lead Teacher in developing and leading daily lesson plans that promote learning and development in young children.
  • Engage with children in the classroom, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and well-being.
  • Prepare materials and resources for daily activities, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, arrival, and departure times, as well as supervise children during activities.
  • Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to plan and implement parent-teacher conferences, ensuring open and effective communication with parents.
  • Communicate efficiently with the classroom teaching team, ensuring a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Infant Toddler CDA credential or Associates/Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education is required for this position.
  • Three to six months childcare-related experience or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Ability to interact with people of all ethnic backgrounds, ages, and lifestyles.
  • Ability and desire to work with and care for infants, toddlers, and preschool children.
  • Working knowledge of computers and experience with a variety of software applications.
