Job Summary

Smart Care Equipment Solutions is seeking an experienced Executive Director of Service Operations to lead the profitable growth of our Service, Installation, and Equipment businesses. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring high levels of safety, Team Member retention, customer satisfaction, job profitability, and quality work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Safety: Create a safe work environment for all Team Members and lead safety efforts for injury prevention. Communicate effectively with Team Members and customers in the event of an injury.
  • Business Development and Operations: Supervise and direct the work of Leaders within Service, Installation, and Equipment. Build a strong selling organization to effectively grow share and deepen customer relationships.
  • Financial Management: Manage the business P&L and overall financial health of the business. Drive a minimum of 10% growth in top-line sales and 10% increase in EBITDA per year.
  • Strategic Planning: Prepare and execute the annual operating plan and develop budgets in coordination with department heads and controllers.
  • Customer Relationships: Maintain close business relationships with top customers and general contractors. Assess customer satisfaction levels and initiate remedial actions as required.
  • Process Improvement: Improve processes for better productivity and oversee large projects. Analyze and interpret performance data to drive action and ensure profitable delivery of scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Talent Management: Coach and develop direct reports effectively. Responsible for talent acquisition, development, and retention needs.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or a similar degree program with technical and financial components.
  • Experience: 5 or more years of managerial/supervisory experience in a service-related industry. 2 or more years of previous P&L ownership and responsibility. 3 or more years of customer relationship development and management experience.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including sales ability. Demonstrated selection, hiring, and team development skills. Track record of success leading a technical non-exempt workforce. Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
