Job Title: Network Administrator

Join the State of Washington as a Network Administrator and play a critical role in maintaining the security, connectivity, and efficiency of our information systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support for maintenance and operations for the agency network infrastructure, including switches, routers, ROIP, and wireless access points.
  • Primary support staff for ensuring device firmware is updated and monitored for compliance.
  • Provide tier 3 support for the Telephony infrastructure in WILDCOMM.
  • Manage the network connectivity for body-worn cameras and Cradle Point devices in the field.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a closely related field.
  • Four years of recent IT experience working in a medium-to-large organization designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure services.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two years of recent information technology experience maintaining body-worn camera technology.
  • A+ Certification.
  • Network+ Certification.
