About the RoleA speech language pathologist is needed to join our team at an excellent school district in Poulsbo, Washington.
As a speech language pathologist, you will diagnose and treat speech issues such as sound production, fluency, and voice disorders. You will also help students understand and express their thoughts, both verbally and in writing, improve verbal and non-verbal communication abilities, address voice concerns, provide assistance with swallowing difficulties, and support cognitive communication skills.

- Help students understand and express their thoughts, both verbally and in writing.
- Improve both verbal and non-verbal communication abilities.
- Address voice concerns, including pitch, volume, and vocal quality.
- Provide assistance with swallowing difficulties.
- Support cognitive communication skills, including memory, attention, and problem-solving.
- Offer non-verbal students tools like communication boards or speech-generating devices.
- Masters degree in Speech and Communication Disorders.
- Prior experience working with children in school or educational environments.
- Valid WA SLP license (Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply).
- Hourly Pay: $43-$48 per hour, depending on experience.
- Guaranteed Hours: 35-40 hours per week.
- Benefits Package: 401(k) with employer match, health, vision, and dental coverage.
- Payment Schedule: Every Friday.
