Position Overview

The Reliability Engineering Lead will play a crucial role in cultivating a culture of reliability by implementing Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) strategies at our manufacturing facility. This position is essential in establishing effective maintenance practices and lifecycle management to align with our operational goals and global standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute RCM procedures to enhance the reliability of manufacturing and laboratory equipment.
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses, including failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA), to optimize maintenance schedules and improve equipment reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that reliability objectives are met and to support strategic manufacturing initiatives.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Support predictive maintenance efforts and provide guidance on maintenance processes to the operations team.
  • Engage in root cause failure analysis (RCFA) to identify corrective actions for recurring equipment issues.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and cGMP standards while ensuring safety and quality in all activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Life Sciences.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Proficient in reliability engineering principles and practices, with a strong understanding of biopharmaceutical processes.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in both team settings and as an individual contributor.

Working Environment

The role may involve working with hazardous materials and requires adherence to safety protocols. Candidates should be prepared for a dynamic work environment that may include extended hours and travel as necessary.
