Job Overview

Position Title: Sales Associate

Department: Customer Service

Reports to: Store Manager

Location: Sharks Ice Fremont

Employment Status: Part-time, Non-exempt

Compensation: $20.86/hour


Position Summary:

The Sales Associate is accountable for managing all monetary transactions related to admissions, equipment rentals, lessons, and merchandise sales.


Shift Details:

  • Shifts may vary based on operational needs and can extend up to 8 hours, including weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responds to phone calls and public inquiries, providing information about sessions, lessons, and fees.
  • Familiarizes and communicates all relevant programs and policies.
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization at the front desk.
  • Assists management with registrations and processing as needed.
  • Delivers exceptional customer service while ensuring adherence to policies.
  • Understands emergency protocols and evacuation procedures.
  • Contributes to the overall cleanliness of the facility.
  • Performs additional tasks as assigned.
  • Knows the appropriate channels to seek out information when necessary.

  • Proven ability to work with numerical data and engage with the public.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Positive demeanor and self-motivated.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work in a cooler environment.
  • Must pass a background check with no felony convictions and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Required to wear the designated uniform during all shifts.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Comfortable interacting with individuals of all ages.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new tasks.
