Industrial Automation Systems Specialist

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Industrial Automation Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial robots to optimize production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Robot Programming and Maintenance: Develop and implement robot programs, troubleshoot issues, and maintain documentation to ensure seamless integration with our production facilities.
- Automation Support: Provide technical assistance to production staff, ensuring they can operate and maintain robotic systems efficiently.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance production throughput and reduce cycle times.
- Electrical Diagnosis and Repair: Perform electrical diagnostics, recommend repairs, and perform maintenance as needed to keep our robotic systems running smoothly.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Associates or Certificate in PLC or Controls: A minimum of 2 years' experience in an industrial controls-related field, preferably with robotics.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Teams, and SharePoint, as well as experience with setup and training on Vision Systems and various robot communication protocols.
- Strong Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical and mechanical issues.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with production staff, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Madison-Kipp Corporation offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid life and disability insurance, 401k plan with company match, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation, paid personal time, and paid parental leave.
