Aseptic Process Control Engineer - Join a Leader in Natural Food Production

Position Overview:
As a Controls Engineer, you will report directly to the Director of Maintenance & Engineering. Your primary focus will be on analyzing and enhancing plant processes to improve control systems and support production assets. You will be involved in the design, development, programming, testing, and troubleshooting of Aseptic Filling and Process Lines, as well as material handling systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive support for various machinery, including safety controllers, PLCs, HMIs, robotics, motion control systems, and industrial networks.
  • Adhere to plant electrical control standards in all tasks.
  • Collaborate with the Change Management Process to implement and enhance company initiatives.
  • Manage and schedule upgrades and overhauls of Aseptic Filling and Process Lines.
  • Deliver training on the operation and maintenance of Aseptic Filling and Process Lines.
  • Participate in after-hours support for engineering on a rotational basis.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
  • An Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in technical or operational roles.
  • Strong analytical skills for problem-solving.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with operations and technical teams to define and achieve project objectives.
  • Effective communication skills with peers and customers.
  • Experience with Technical Service Providers and/or Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM).
  • Self-motivated with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Experience with Rockwell Automation PLC and HMI systems.
  • Background in installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of processing and packaging equipment.
  • Ability to foster an inclusive work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • In-depth knowledge of Tetra Pak and/or Stork Aseptic filling equipment.
  • Experience in Aseptic Processing and Packaging Systems.
  • Familiarity with Beckhoff Automation PLC and HMI systems.
  • Knowledge of robotics and motion control systems.
  • Experience with vision inspection systems.
  • Understanding of FDA regulations and standards.
