Microbiologist

Actalent is seeking a highly skilled Microbiology Lab Technician to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory operations, you will be responsible for executing and coordinating various lab testing and inspection routines to ensure the quality and safety of our food products.

• Execute microbiological testing procedures for verifying commercial sterility of finished products.
• Coordinate storage, organization, and shipment of finished product samples.
• Develop and validate testing methods for raw and finished products.
• Provide support and execute positive release process for finished products.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and customer complaint investigations.

• BSc in Food Science or other scientific related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in laboratory function within food, beverage, chemical, or pharma industry.
• Ability to communicate effectively, written and verbally.
• Ability to document, describe, and interpret records and documented specifications.
