Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at UT Health Austin. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing MRI imaging procedures on patients in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI imaging procedures on patients, ensuring accurate and high-quality results.
  • Administer contrast agents under the guidance and approval of the site Radiologist, following site-specific protocols.
  • Collaborate with facility healthcare personnel to ensure smooth patient care and safety during transport and exams.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to quality assurance guidelines and patient confidentiality.
  • Perform equipment quality checks and troubleshoot issues, notifying relevant team members as needed.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of MRI imaging procedures and protocols.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring seamless collaboration with patients, staff, and Radiologists.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to quality assurance guidelines.
