Job Overview:

Position Summary:

The Identity Access Management Solution Architect at Synchrony Financial plays a pivotal role in steering teams towards the creation of innovative solutions and enhancements. This position involves close collaboration with requirements analysts, testers, and clients within an agile development framework. The architect will be responsible for the technical design and development of integrated, multi-platform application systems, translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with any Identity Access Management platform.
  • Hands-on experience with IAM security policies and proficiency in learning WEB SDK calls, including request and response payloads.
  • Proficient understanding of Microservices, API gateways, and authentication methods such as OPEN ID Connect and OAUTH2.
  • Familiarity with Multi-Factor Authentication processes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, accompanied by at least 7 years of experience in IT with a focus on modern application development; OR, in the absence of a degree, a minimum of 9 years of relevant IT experience.

    • Must not be currently under any corrective action plan (First Formal/Final Formal, PIP).

Preferred Attributes:

  • Extensive knowledge of the Financial Services sector and Consumer Lending.
  • Experience in designing and developing applications on the Transmit Security platform.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Proficient in Spring Boot Microservices, including the creation and consumption of web services (REST and SOAP).

Grade/Level: 11

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Willingness to undergo a drug test, background investigation, and fingerprinting as part of the onboarding process.
