Job DescriptionJob Overview:
The Norfolk Companies is seeking a highly skilled Kitchen and Bath Sales Professional to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for designing and selling kitchen and bath solutions to our customers. Key Responsibilities:
• Design and sell kitchen and bath solutions to customers
• Collaborate with the showroom team to ensure a consistent and exceptional customer experience
• Utilize precise measurement skills to ensure a proper fit for kitchen and bath designs
• Achieve sales and margin goals
• Build and nurture enduring relationships with homeowner and builder clients
• Stay informed about the latest design trends and industry changes by actively participating in training sessions and events

Requirements:
• Proven success in a sales role involving face-to-face customer interactions
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of cabinetry construction and design planning
• Proficiency in a design software such as 20/20 or AutoCAD
• Knowledge of trends & materials, color, finishes
• Clear, professional communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to effectively resolve problems from design to installation
• Ability to foster a team environment, motivate and teach
• Aptitude for calculations (measurements, gross profit)
• Proficient with Microsoft applications including Calendar, Word, Excel and working within a shared folder setup.

Education and Experience:
• 3+ years in relationship-based sales, preferably in kitchen and bath design
• Track record of meeting sales goals and contributing to team success
• Knowledge of interior design and building materials is beneficial

Physical Requirements:
• Valid driver's license for travel to customer sites
• Ability to perform physical job tasks as needed
• Ability to articulate, write, and read in English
• Comfortable sitting and working with PC-related tasks for extended periods
• Comfortable navigating around construction machinery and other potential site hazards if necessary
