Job Title: Maintenance Superintendent

WEG Transformers USA is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Superintendent to oversee the efficient maintenance of our production machinery, equipment, and facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and healthy working conditions of our employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster positive relationships among team members and promote open communication.
  • Develop, schedule, and control a preventive maintenance program to keep production machinery in optimal condition.
  • Lead the implementation of a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Ensure safe and healthy working conditions by maintaining company property and inspecting work to uphold quality and safety standards.
  • Manage maintenance material inventories and requisitions, and recommend equipment improvements for cost reduction and efficiency.
  • Prepare production and maintenance reports, and manage departmental budget expenditures.

Requirements:
  • At least five years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment, demonstrating a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills.
  • Thorough understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations related to plant operation and maintenance.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective communication across various employee levels.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a safety-sensitive position and pass a THC test.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and Ladder Logics.
  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), especially NETfacilities.
  • Knowledge of SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing).

Salary: $95.25K to $107.5K
