About the Position

The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the role of Director, Risk Management. This is a full-time position that will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the District's American with Disabilities Act (ADA) program, Occupational/Environmental Health and Risk Management Programs, and overseeing the District's Workers' Compensation program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate, recommend, and/or administer risk management, loss prevention, and safety techniques
  • Plan, organize, and direct the District's ADA program, Occupational/Environmental Health and Risk Management Programs
  • Oversee the District's Workers' Compensation program
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business or a related field, and three to five years of progressively responsible experience in environmental and occupational health and welfare benefits administration.
