Job Summary

The Business Development Senior Associate will be responsible for generating M&A deal flow for our private equity and strategic acquirer client base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategy to generate proprietary M&A and investment deal flow through contacting potential targets.
  • Conduct initial phone calls with target business owners to discuss potential M&A transactions and investment opportunities.
  • Collaborate with our research team to ensure target company lists are created in a timely manner and meet client investment criteria.
  • Maintain a CRM database through careful notetaking.
  • Work closely with our Managing Director and tight-knit team.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and interest in M&A, finance, and general business activities and terminology.
  • Superb listening, writing, speaking, and organizational skills.
  • History of high work ethic and initiative.
  • Expertise in all Microsoft Office programs.
  • ~0 - 5+ years of experience in business development, investment or commercial banking, sales, finance, or related fields.
  • BA or BS degree with preference for degrees in finance, accounting, business, management, economics, or related fields.

What We Offer

  • Base Salary: ~$60-70K.
  • Expected Annual Bonus: $50 - $200K+

The goal of the email is to start a conversation with the software company owner about a potential transaction with your selected private equity client.
