Job Summary

The Branch Office Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our branch offices. Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, this individual will be responsible for coordinating the work activities of support staff, implementing and enforcing company policies and procedures, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the work activities of support staff to contribute to efficient and effective branch operations
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, including human capital policies
  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company standards
  • Assist in the investigation of employee complaints and personnel issues
  • Participate in the hiring and management of support staff
  • Monitor and approve payroll time entries
  • Oversee the cashiering functions in the branch
  • Coordinate the transition of new financial professionals and assist in the opening of new registered branch offices
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for operations issues
Requirements
  • Applicable industry exams: FINRA SIE, Series 7, 66 (or 63/65), and 9/10 (or 24/4/53)
  • Prior managerial experience
  • Seasoned experience in the securities industry, knowledge of industry rules and regulations
  • Thorough knowledge of company policies and procedures
  • General knowledge of accounting principles
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Solid technology skills, including familiarity with Microsoft tools
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Maintain client confidentiality
