Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at Parkland Health & Hospital. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia and anesthesia-related care from pre-anesthetic patient assessment and evaluation through post-anesthetic patient follow-up, evaluation and care.

Responsibilities

  • Administers anesthesia and anesthesia-related care in accordance with established protocols and multidisciplinary plan of care.
  • Formulates and carries out anesthetic patient care plans in collaboration/consultation with attending anesthesiologists.
  • Provides care to assigned patient population in accordance with the current State of Texas Nurse Practice Act, established protocols, and clinical area specific standards.

Requirements

To be successful as a CRNA, you must have:

  • A graduate degree in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited program.
  • A valid RN license or valid Compact RN license.
  • A current license or temporary authorization as an APRN with authorization to practice as a CRNA by the Texas Board of Nursing.
  • Certification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).

Parkland Health & Hospital offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per year, based on experience, as well as comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
