Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Hampton Inn & Suites Pittsburgh. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, registering guests, and ensuring a seamless stay experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Register guests and process check-ins and check-outs in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Provide accurate and timely information to guests regarding hotel services, facilities, and hours of operation.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Process payments and handle cash, credit card transactions, and other financial responsibilities.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including the lobby and surrounding areas.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic arithmetic skills and ability to handle cash and credit card transactions.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk procedures and policies.
