Senior Employee Relations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employee Relations Manager to join our team at Western Digital. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for leading complex investigations, developing and implementing HR policies, and providing guidance on employee relations matters.
Key Responsibilities- Lead investigations into sensitive HR and Employee Relations issues, including analyzing data and proposing remedial action
- Conduct end-to-end investigative casework, including interviewing, data analysis, and report writing
- Analyze casework trends and provide strategic recommendations to the business to proactively address systemic issues
- Support the creation and maintenance of standards around governance, case assignments, reporting, and service level agreements
- Use data to anticipate issues, identify opportunities, and design solutions to minimize reactive work
- Collaborate with leaders to ensure compliance, investigations outcomes, and other ER matters
- Stay current on business trends, HR and ER trends, employment law, and diversity and inclusion landscapes
- Ensure operational excellence and develop a high-performance team
- Work with internal and external partners to ensure a respectful and inclusive workplace culture
- Drive innovation to solve business and team member problems
- 12+ years of experience in Human Resources
- 12+ years of leading complex investigations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for Talent Management and Central Investigations processes
- Strong project management skills
- Experience developing high-performing teams
- Experience working in a global company leading cross-functional regional and global projects
- Demonstrated success leading programs and driving process improvements
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proven record of accomplishment in confident communication and stakeholder management
