Key Responsibilities:
Role and Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the efficient maintenance of multiple facilities.

Your role will also involve supervising a team and coordinating with vendors for renovation, maintenance services, and repairs across various disciplines including plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing, janitorial services, grounds maintenance, HVAC, security, electrical systems, and more.


Your duties will include:


Collaborating with corporate teams and supervisors to oversee construction or renovation projects; managing permits, and inspecting work against blueprints and specifications.

Administering maintenance tools, equipment, supplies, budgets, time, and production records to optimize efficiency.

Overseeing production schedules and work processes to ensure timely project completion.

Monitoring Building Automation Systems (BAS); reviewing, recording, analyzing, and optimizing energy consumption and costs.

Interpreting company policies for staff and enforcing safety standards.

Guiding team members in achieving their work objectives.

Performing maintenance tasks as needed or in emergencies.

Supervising trainees in maintenance roles.

Qualifications:
Required Competencies


Essential skills include proven leadership abilities, adaptability, effective communication (both written and verbal), basic mathematical skills, and proficiency with computers (including BAS).


Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.

A minimum of five (5) years of experience in construction, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, mechanical, carpentry, or related fields. Journeyman's certification in one or more trades such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or carpentry is preferred.

Certification as a building maintenance supervisor or Facility Manager from the Building Operating Management Association (BOMA) or Executive Operating Engineer through the American Hotel and Lodging Association (AHLA) is a plus.

Demonstrated supervisory experience is essential.

Ability to read and interpret safety regulations, operating instructions, and maintenance manuals. Proficient in writing routine reports and correspondence. Capable of effectively presenting information to groups of employees or clients.

Ability to calculate estimates and amounts.


Skilled in solving practical problems and managing various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.

Proficient in using computers and standard software applications relevant to the business unit. Experience with BAS software is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

Frequently:

lift or carry up to 20 lbs.; push or pull up to 40 lbs.; bend or stoop; reach above shoulder level; operate automatic equipment vehicles; walk, stand, sit.


Occasionally:
lift or carry up to 60 lbs. or more; push or pull up to 60 lbs. or more; work with machinery, climb, and work in extreme temperatures.
