Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Specialist to join our team at Community Bank NA. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and following up on new plan documents and amendments, submitting documents to the IRS, and communicating electronically with plan sponsors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and follow up on new plan documents and amendments
  • Submit documents to the IRS
  • Communicate electronically with plan sponsors
  • Prepare and consult on Plan document designs using software and data processing
  • Follow up on Plan documents and amendments via mail, email, or telephone
  • Provide backup to other staff when necessary
  • Assist in requesting TINs for Plans
  • Consult with plan sponsors regarding EPCRS submissions
  • Maintain proficient knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to the position
Requirements
  • College degree and/or professional designation from ASPPA, CEBS, or paralegal certificate
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to analyze problems and present possible solutions to supervisor
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to prioritize work assignments and multitask
  • Intermediate level competency with Microsoft Word and Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and personal computer skills
  • Pension consulting experience is necessary
