Position:

Locum MD/DO Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive rehabilitation care to patients with physical impairments or disabilities.
  • Diagnose and treat musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Conduct electrodiagnostic studies (EMG/NCS) as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and medical records.
  • Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes, treatment options, and preventive care.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
  • Valid New York state medical license and DEA registration.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in PM&R preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to manage a wide range of rehabilitation cases.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
