Senior Technology Executive

Operating under various brands, the company offers a wide array of personalized products, including class jewelry, apparel, yearbooks, and photography services, all facilitated through advanced digital marketing technologies and tailored in-school deliveries.
As the Chief Information Officer, you will play a pivotal role in steering the organization’s information systems strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will collaborate with senior leaders to foster innovation while ensuring cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to strategic and operational decisions as a senior management team member, spearheading technology initiatives that align with the company’s overarching strategy.
- Collaborate with the Chief Marketing Officer to integrate core enterprise systems with customer-facing digital platforms.
- Lead the development of technology roadmaps for essential ERP processes across finance, manufacturing, and supply chain operations.
- Align IT and business strategies to meet organizational goals by promoting innovation and effectively managing technology solutions.
- Identify and engage the right internal and external IT teams and vendors to support business objectives through a well-structured IT organization.
- Evaluate opportunities for cost-effective IT investments, including staffing and technology procurement.
- Assess and communicate risks associated with IT investments, providing justifications and analyses for proposed initiatives.
- Manage the annual operating and capital budgets for information technology.
- Develop and implement comprehensive security, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with multiple IT vendors.
- Attract and develop talented professionals in both business and technology fields, delegating responsibilities effectively.
- Establish and document IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
- Build strong, customer-focused teams, fostering enthusiasm and engagement within the organization.
- Recognize and celebrate significant achievements of individuals and teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
- Significant prior experience in IT leadership roles, particularly in deploying ERP platforms across various operational domains.
- 8-10+ years of experience in IT leadership, with a focus on innovation, architecture, and ERP implementation.
- Demonstrated success in building high-performing IT organizations with a focus on service delivery.
- Experience in designing data strategies, integrations, and business intelligence frameworks.
- Familiarity with compliance standards related to data privacy and cybersecurity.
- Knowledge of technology infrastructure management and disaster recovery planning.
- Comprehensive understanding of enterprise software applications and cloud computing solutions.
- Proven ability to develop IT strategies and deliver major change initiatives.
- Experience in negotiating vendor contracts and managing service levels.
