Position Overview

Link Solutions is in search of a Technical Support Administrator to become a part of our team.
  • Must be a US Citizen

The Technical Support Administrator will assist operations within a key governmental agency.

This role encompasses a variety of front office and administrative responsibilities to facilitate mission operations. Join a diverse and professional team at a leading organization in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support services including visitor access management, telephone answering, document filing, faxing, copying, and managing office supplies and equipment.
  • Coordinate IT appointments for personnel undergoing in-processing and out-processing.
  • Engage with staff regarding appointment scheduling and update systems as personnel progress.
  • Ensure new staff complete necessary training to obtain their computing devices.
  • Generate purchase requests for IT-related supplies and services.
  • Act as the account liaison for mobile device contracts, assisting with management and asset updates.
  • Maintain and update equipment assignments in the IT database.
  • Organize meeting spaces, reserve conference rooms, and send meeting invitations.
  • Handle telephone inquiries and convert help desk messages into tickets.
  • Monitor emails for tasks to distribute to the IT team and gather responses as needed.
  • Complete filing of property documentation and in-processing checklists.
  • Serve as the Telephone Control Officer, managing phone extensions and ensuring accurate communication with the local network team.
  • Ensure proper electronic filing of documents and update standard operating procedures and IT guides as necessary.

Qualifications:
  • US Citizen
  • Active Public Trust background security clearance required.
  • Associate degree with at least one year of experience or two years of relevant administrative experience.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Office applications, and other common desktop software.
  • Experience supporting various peripheral devices.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with SharePoint site administration and optimization.
  • Background in a Department of Defense environment.
  • Knowledge of Army Network Enterprise Center operations.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational abilities.
