Role Summary

The Operations Specialist is tasked with delivering support, guidance, and oversight from a wellness perspective across communities, ensuring that standards are upheld until a suitable replacement is appointed. This role also involves conducting audits and monitoring systems to verify compliance with established standards.

Qualifications

  • Degree in healthcare or a related discipline.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 70% of the time.
  • Experience in Senior Living or Independent Living environments.
  • A minimum of three years in a management role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of mastering company-specific software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the community Wellness Director or Administrator during vacancies, which includes:
    • Conducting assessments and developing service plans for residents.
    • Overseeing resident care to maintain quality standards.
    • Processing physician orders in collaboration with pharmacy support.
    • Ensuring that resident activity schedules are created and followed during staffing gaps.
    • Working with Human Resources to address employee performance issues.
    • Facilitating the training and development of care team members.
  • Coordinate with the home office team to ensure seamless transitions for community team members.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and effective communication.
  • Conduct monthly audits to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Assist wellness leaders with ongoing training initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned within the scope of the role.
