Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Crimes Fraud Operations Analyst to join our team at Guidehouse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for responding to client inquiries, applying research and analytical techniques to identify complex information sets, and making logical determinations regarding suspicious activity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to client inquiries and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Apply research and analytical techniques to identify complex information sets and make logical determinations regarding suspicious activity
  • Determine whether fraudulent activity is present across customer products
  • Assess customer profiles and client data to identify whether activity is consistent with typical purchasing/payment activity
  • Execute and deliver high-quality work product, functioning both independently and in a collaborative setting
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and 2+ years relevant experience
  • Skilled at monitoring, reviewing, and analyzing account activity to identify fraud or suspicious activity
  • Strong understanding of bank operations, including navigating banking systems and interpreting customer transactions
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines (e.g., BSA, OFAC, FinCEN guidance)
  • Knowledge of Financial Crimes Compliance functions such as OFAC Sanctions, Anti-Money Laundering, KYC, CDD, EDD, and/or Financial Fraud
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience assessing and reviewing system-generated and manual AML alerts and/or escalations/SAR write-ups for potentially suspicious activity
  • Experience with financial crimes risks associated with Transaction Monitoring/Screening/Fraud Operations/SAR Reporting/Identification and Verification of Customers, KYC, CDD, and EDD
  • CAMS certification
