About the Role
As a Senior Application Solutions Specialist, you will be responsible for providing NetSuite support and subject matter expertise to users, assisting with report writing and analytics efforts, and performing hands-on coding work on projects as needed. You will also be responsible for documenting business objectives, use cases, business requirements, system specifications, workflows, and process documentation. Additionally, you will act as a system expert on production and sandbox NetSuite environments and related systems, developing and maintaining workflows and processes in NetSuite to optimize the platform. You will also evaluate current state, research, and implement effective solution designs to achieve defined business or process objectives. Furthermore, you will provide support to global colleagues via the IT ticketing system and complete additional responsibilities as required.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need at least 5 years' experience with the day-to-day technical management of the NetSuite platform, strong NetSuite ERP administration/development experience, and hands-on SuiteScript experience to provide back-end customization. You will also need an understanding of common industry-standard business practices in accounting, strong understanding and experience in a project-based services organization, and the ability to do independent technical work. Additionally, you will need experience using forms, fields, custom records, and workflows to manage unique business process requirements within the ERP system, attention to detail, and proficiency with saved searches, formulas, reporting, creating dashboards, creating custom forms, and creating workflows. You will also need an understanding of NetSuite ERP workflow functionality and processes, experience developing and maintaining reports in Microsoft Power BI (or other BI solution), and the ability to manage competing priorities, solve problems quickly, and work independently. Biopharmaceutical industry experience is preferred.
