Position Overview

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE:

Enhance and uphold our esteemed Red Wing brand image through professional selling, fostering loyalty, and establishing long-lasting relationships with our clientele. This is accomplished by promoting the Red Wing Shoe Company's Ultimate Fit Experience (UFX), marketing our premium products, and delivering attentive customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Guide each customer through RWSC's Ultimate Fit Experience Offer suitable accessory recommendations and educate customers on their benefits Generate leads for industrial sales Meet and surpass daily productivity and sales targets Maintain the integrity of the sales floor presentation, store signage, and cleanliness standards Stay proficient with product knowledge, technical, and operational standards through ongoing learning Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to organizational standards and legal regulations Provide direct support in the daily operations of the retail establishment

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (applicable to all positions):

Acquire necessary information by staying informed about RWSC's electronic communication software Maintain quality service by establishing, following, and enforcing organizational quality system standards Uphold the core values of Red Wing Shoe Company Willingness to undertake additional responsibilities as needed Conduct oneself in accordance with RWSC policies Foster collaborative relationships with key individuals you will work or interact with

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience 1-2 years of relevant experience Results-oriented Effective written and verbal communication skills Proficient in computer utilization

ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

Comprehensive knowledge of Red Wing Shoe Company's mission, values, and organizational structure Understanding of profit and loss Naturally curious, passionate about new ideas, and focused on driving growth Problem-solving abilities Retail footwear experience Preferably bilingual in Spanish

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to lift 50 pounds, bend/squat to lace shoes, overhead lifting, twisting, climbing a ladder, and standing for extended periods Housekeeping duties including but not limited to: vacuuming, mopping & waxing floors, washing windows, using disinfectant chemicals, discarding trash, maintaining recycling, and installing and maintaining furniture, fixtures, and displays.
