The Museum of Children's Art (MOCHA) is dedicated to fostering creativity and learning among children and youth through artistic engagement. Our organization provides a vibrant museum space and conducts educational outreach initiatives in various community settings.

Role Responsibilities
This opportunity is available for part-time or full-time Visual Arts Educators (VAE) serving youth from transitional kindergarten through 12th grade.
The Visual Arts Educator will be responsible for delivering visual arts instruction to students within the Museum of Children's Art's service area, which encompasses various regions.
Educators will utilize the California Visual and Performing Arts curriculum frameworks to design structured learning units that enhance students' understanding of visual arts and promote their social-emotional development.
The Visual Arts Educator will collaborate with multiple educational institutions and community partners throughout the academic year.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, adaptability, and a strong commitment to upholding the mission, guiding principles, community agreements, and values of the Museum of Children's Art in all aspects of their work.
Maintaining professionalism and confidentiality while engaging with both internal and external stakeholders is essential, along with being proactive, resourceful, and efficient in fulfilling job responsibilities.
