As a key player in managing and administering employee benefit programs, you will oversee various company-sponsored plans and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with benefit plan vendors, ensuring optimal performance through regular reviews and meetings.
- Analyze utilization and financial data of assigned benefit plans, providing recommendations to address trends and reviewing rates and performance guarantees.
- Work closely with the Health Benefits lead to implement changes to benefit plans for employee groups.
- Collaborate with the Labor Relations team to manage healthcare benefits for union-represented employees, including implementation and communication.
- Partner with the Associate Communications team to create and manage communication materials for assigned benefit plans.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations, including ERISA and the Internal Revenue Code, as they pertain to assigned benefit plans.
- Work with legal counsel to develop necessary documentation, including notices and plan amendments.
- Coordinate with HR teams and Total Rewards managers to administer assigned benefit plans effectively.
- Attend conferences and vendor meetings as required.
- Conduct year-end processes for assigned benefit plans.
- Collaborate with Legal to file requests for additional registered shares with the SEC when necessary.
Minimum Requirements
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Independent decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 5+ years of experience in benefits administration, specifically related to assigned benefit plans.
Compensation: $70,000 - $97,000 annually
