About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to join our team at Grubb Properties. As a key member of our property operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our residential properties, ensuring that they are safe, clean, and well-maintained for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Inspect and maintain all aspects of our properties, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the work of our maintenance team, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Manage and maintain an accurate inventory of tools and supplies, ensuring that we have everything we need to complete tasks.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Work closely with our property manager to schedule and coordinate maintenance tasks, ensuring that we are always prepared for routine maintenance and emergencies.
  • Resident Relations: Provide excellent customer service to our residents, responding to their maintenance requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least five years of experience in maintenance operations, preferably in a residential property management setting.
  • Certifications: CPO certification required, CFC Type I & Type II certification required, CFC Universal certification preferred.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of heat pump, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, appliance repair, and carpentry. Excellent organizational and mechanical skills, with the ability to maintain an inventory system.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
