About the Role

As a Service Manager at IRT Living, you will be responsible for leading our multi-family community's maintenance department. You will be the key to ensuring that our properties are well-maintained, and our residents are satisfied with the level of service they receive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Community and Regional Manager to develop and implement property maintenance plans and initiatives.
  • Provide strong leadership and direction to the service team, empowering them to perform at their best.
  • Prioritize work orders and delegate assignments to ensure all service requests are completed in a timely manner.
  • Lead by example and troubleshoot/complete service requests as needed.
  • Ensure the service team adheres to budgets and provides the highest level of service and resident relations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in property maintenance or a related field.
  • EPA I and EPA II certifications are required; CPO certification is preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs., and occasionally lift and carry up to 80 lbs.
  • Ability to push and pull an appliance dolly up to 200 lbs., move objects from one floor to another.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and be courteous and helpful to residents, co-workers, and vendors.
  • Valid Driver's License.
