Position: Energy Analyst

We are looking for a skilled individual to provide Program Operations support as an Energy Analyst within ICF's energy efficiency division.

Your Responsibilities:
Program Operations Support:
  • Conducting fundamental quantitative analyses
  • Creating process flow documentation to enhance team coordination
  • Collaborating with program leaders to identify automation and process improvement opportunities
  • Developing and maintaining internal tracking tools such as Excel documents and databases
  • Preparing and monitoring weekly incentive invoices and energy savings
  • Updating client reports and program documentation
  • Performing additional tasks to support national operations and assist division leadership as necessary
Energy Efficiency Program Support:
  • Executing quality assurance/quality control reviews of program partner reports
  • Coordinating with subcontractors, stakeholders, and customer service teams
  • Participating in promotional events for energy-efficient measures and programs
  • Conducting research on market trends and client requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Energy, Sustainability, or related fields with at least 1 year of professional experience in operational support, administration, data analytics, or energy efficiency

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in operational support, administration, data analytics, or energy efficiency
Essential Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), with a strong emphasis on Excel
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
  • Capability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with all levels of internal staff and external clients
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the capacity to analyze situations and propose solutions
  • Ability to synthesize information, think critically, and make decisions in a dynamic environment
  • Basic programming knowledge is a plus (VBA, Python, etc.)
