POSITION SUMMARY

The Clinical Manager is responsible for overseeing a clinical team consisting of 10 Rehabilitation Specialists, a Nurse, and part-time Psychiatrist, as well as consumers. This role requires strong leadership and supervision skills to ensure the team is delivering high-quality services in accordance with the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) model.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure the ACT model is implemented at acceptable fidelity rates.
  • Collaborate with consumers, Case Managers, and network members to develop, update, and revise Individualized Recovery Plans (IRPs).
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation for clinical care and billing purposes.
  • Provide technical supervision to Case Managers as needed.
  • Conduct daily team meetings and check-ins to ensure services are delivered as prescribed by IRPs.
  • Meet with Rehabilitation Specialists weekly for the first three months and as needed thereafter.
  • Provide backup and coverage for team members during absences.
  • Offer formal training to Rehabilitation Specialists in relevant areas.
  • Directly supervise 10 employees and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws.

  • Model and reinforce Community Connections' mission and values.
  • Protect consumer confidentiality and maintain HIPAA compliance.
  • Complete role-specific and organizational-wide training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a relevant human services discipline.
  • Active LICSW, LPC, Psy.D. licensure in DC required.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience in a related field preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of mental health principles and ability to operationalize and implement them.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
