Clinical Manager

The Clinical Manager is responsible for overseeing a clinical team consisting of 10 Rehabilitation Specialists, a Nurse, and part-time Psychiatrist, as well as consumers. This role requires strong leadership and supervision skills to ensure the team is delivering high-quality services in accordance with the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) model.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the ACT model is implemented at acceptable fidelity rates.
- Collaborate with consumers, Case Managers, and network members to develop, update, and revise Individualized Recovery Plans (IRPs).
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation for clinical care and billing purposes.
- Provide technical supervision to Case Managers as needed.
- Conduct daily team meetings and check-ins to ensure services are delivered as prescribed by IRPs.
- Meet with Rehabilitation Specialists weekly for the first three months and as needed thereafter.
- Provide backup and coverage for team members during absences.
- Offer formal training to Rehabilitation Specialists in relevant areas.
- Directly supervise 10 employees and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Model and reinforce Community Connections' mission and values.
- Protect consumer confidentiality and maintain HIPAA compliance.
- Complete role-specific and organizational-wide training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a relevant human services discipline.
- Active LICSW, LPC, Psy.D. licensure in DC required.
- 2 years of supervisory experience in a related field preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of mental health principles and ability to operationalize and implement them.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
