Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant I to join our Development Department team. As an Administrative Assistant I, you will provide administrative support to the team, including data entry, volunteer management, and clerical tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Entry and Coordination: Utilize the territorially mandated constituent relationship management system to input, update, and track donor information. Manage assigned projects year-round in the CRM tool, including pulling and providing reports.
  • Volunteer Program Management: Recruit and screen volunteers, maintain up-to-date records, and manage the online database for volunteers. Coordinate volunteer opportunities with local businesses, schools, and churches.
  • Clerical Support: Compose, prepare, and type documents, including correspondence, reports, and programs. Coordinate administrative responsibilities for Salvation Army activities, including councils, seminars, and staff meetings.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma and two years of progressively responsible experience in an office environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications, including Office 365, and ability to work in internal databases or internet-based applications.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid state driver's license.
