Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic individual to enhance the sales of Kroger Manufactured Products (KMP) through strategic customer engagement. This role focuses on fostering new business opportunities and maintaining existing client relationships to meet overall organizational goals and drive sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new customer opportunities to generate profitable sales.
  • Build and maintain effective partnerships with clients and internal teams to ensure successful business outcomes.
  • Provide in-depth knowledge of Kroger's offerings and capabilities to clients.
  • Oversee product assortment, pricing strategies, logistics, packaging, and credit terms to maximize profitability and ensure alignment with production capabilities.
  • Coordinate all aspects of ordering, pricing, shipping, and credit to secure profitable transactions.
  • Develop promotional initiatives aimed at increasing sales volume and profitability.
  • Generate product pipeline concepts for sustained growth and secure customer buy-in.
  • Maintain market intelligence regarding opportunities, challenges, pricing strategies, promotions, and competitive landscape.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgetary information.
  • Guide the sales training of agents and brokers related to KMPs.
  • Collaborate with financial management to set pricing structures.
  • Adhere to established protocols and practices to ensure the production of safe, quality food that complies with regulatory and corporate standards.
  • Capability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of key business metrics, including profit and loss (P&L) drivers and their impact on performance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and create effective reports.
  • Solid grasp of value drivers and fundamentals in food production.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales and marketing within the manufacturing sector.
