Position Overview:

The Golden Haven Care Center is looking for a dedicated Director of Staff Development. This pivotal role involves orchestrating orientation, educational programs, and training sessions aimed at equipping staff with the essential knowledge and skills necessary for safe and effective job performance. The successful candidate will ensure that care quality aligns with state, federal, and corporate regulations, manage infection control initiatives, and promote a professional atmosphere that encourages collaboration among team members.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Valid CA DSD Certification, LVN license, and CPR/First Aid certification are mandatory
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare environment
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal abilities
  • Capacity to uphold confidentiality and communicate proficiently

Preferred Experience:

  • Supervisory: 2 years preferred
  • Skilled Nursing Facility: 1 year preferred

Licenses Required:

  • DSD certification is essential
  • LVN license is essential
  • CPR/BLS certification is essential
