Medical Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse to join our team at the State of Nebraska. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for supervising nursing and direct care staff in a correctional facility.
Your primary duties will include consulting with clinical staff to coordinate individual patient care treatment plans, resolving conflicts between patients and employees, and administering nursing services activities.
To be successful in this role, you must have a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska and one year of relevant experience. Additionally, you should possess strong communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The estimated salary for this position is $42,500 per year, which includes a minimum hiring rate of $38.854/hour and a facility differential of $3/hour.
