Job Title: Palliative Care Physician
Location: Lincoln, NE
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary Range: $126 - $126 per hour
Dignity Physician Careers is seeking a Board eligible or certified physician to join our consultative Palliative Medicine team. Our multidisciplinary team includes Advanced Practice Providers, Social Workers, Chaplains, and dedicated staff.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients' medical conditions, develop comprehensive treatment plans, conduct thorough medical examinations, and histories.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, providing clear and concise medical information, fostering a collaborative patient-centered approach to healthcare.
Maintain accurate patient records, document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with coding and billing regulations.
Order diagnostic tests, perform procedures as needed, collaborate with specialists for further evaluation.
Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals, participating in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions, providing consultative services to other providers.
Participate in quality assurance initiatives, reviewing clinical outcomes for continuous improvement, implementing changes to enhance patient care and safety.
Adhere to ethical and legal standards, staying informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, participating in quality audits.
Stay current with medical advancements and best practices, participate in ongoing education and training, contributing to clinical protocols and guidelines.
