We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at BryanLGH Medical Center. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare team.
Job SummaryThis is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to work as a Medical Assistant in our busy hospital environment. You will be responsible for assisting patients with daily living activities, taking vital signs, and performing various clinical tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
Key Responsibilities:- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Take vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
- Perform various clinical tasks, such as collecting specimens and preparing patients for procedures
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Participate in hourly patient rounds to proactively address patient needs
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- An active Nebraska Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
- Six months of CNA experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Able to maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Able to practice proper body mechanics to ensure personal and customer/patient safety
BryanLGH Medical Center offers a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
