Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Care Specialist to join our team at Animal Care Clinic. As a Veterinary Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch medical care and personalized attention to our furry clients.

With over 30 years of experience serving the residents and pets of Lincoln, Nebraska, we understand that pets are more than just animals; they're members of the family. Our dedicated staff provides compassionate care and complete veterinary services, including routine checkups, vaccinations, dental care, surgeries, and grooming.

In this role, you will be responsible for animal restraint, triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, administration of medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management.

You will also have opportunities to develop your skills through virtual and hands-on training and continuing development programs.
