Solar Construction Safety Role
We are seeking a skilled Safety Coordinator to oversee health and safety for a large solar project. The successful candidate will support the onsite health and safety manager and solar employees in ensuring a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with training and implementation of safety protocols on the solar field
- Work with the team to enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance
- Support the onsite health and safety manager in maintaining a safe working environment
- Collaborate with solar employees to identify and mitigate potential safety risks
Requirements:
- 2+ years of solar safety experience (coordinator, trainer, etc.)
- Osha 30 certification
- Good communication skills
- CPR certification
- Able to work overtime and weekends (as needed)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Low and medium voltage experience
- EMT experience
