Financial Analyst Job Description

PeopleShare Inc is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst with cost accounting experience to join our dynamic finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial data and performance metrics to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Prepare, monitor, and report on budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  • Conduct cost analysis and develop cost models to support business decision-making.
  • Perform variance analysis between actual, forecasted, and budgeted costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cost structures and improve operational efficiencies.
  • Assist in month-end close processes, including journal entries and financial reporting.
  • Provide support for pricing strategies, margin analysis, and profitability studies.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for various business scenarios.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and accounting standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst with hands-on cost accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
  • Proficient in financial modeling and working with large data sets.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and experience with ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
