Laundry Support Specialist

The Laundry and Linen Services Coordinator provides critical support to the Environmental Services team by ensuring the efficient operation of laundry and linen services across all departments. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized laundry environment, processing and distributing linens, and collaborating with colleagues to meet the needs of patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry environment, adhering to infection control and safety standards.
- Process and distribute linens, ensuring timely delivery to departments.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet the needs of patients and staff, responding to requests for linen supplies and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of processes to enhance laundry and linen services.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in laundry or linen services preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
