About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Specialist to join our Industrial Control Systems group at Watlow. As a Product Specialist, you will have the opportunity to learn and interact with our expansive product lines, including Power Controllers, Switches, Data Recording products, and Temperature and Process Controllers.

Your key responsibilities will include building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and peers, establishing and cultivating a working knowledge of products and their applications, and supporting and educating customers, distributors, and sales agents on product selection and product application.

You will also serve as a technical resource post-sale and assist with product investigations, support new product development teams by providing input based on your product and customer learnings, and work closely with cross-functional teams to assess business opportunities and develop product growth strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or two-year degree and related experience, or equivalent experience (5-8 years)
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Teams, Word)
  • Strong customer-facing skills and the ability to resolve conflicts effectively
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills. Fluent in English
  • Strong analytical and debug skills
  • Self-starter and desire to learn
  • Ability to work independently and know when to refer issues to others
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in using business systems to achieve results and improve processes

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or two-year degree in a Science or Engineering field
  • Experience in Electrical or Data collection fields
